Why should I become a member of the Stony Creek Racing Club? 
Membership is a great way to support your local club and community, and enjoy some fantastic race day benefits. Benefits include entry to race meetings and access to premium members only areas. Not only do Stony Creek members get the best seat in the house, they also enjoy discounts on race books, beverages and merchandise. 

Does my membership application need to be ratified by the board to join as a new member? 
Yes, new members will have their application approved by the board at the next committee meeting. If your application is declined for any reason, you will receive a full refund. 

How can I pay for a membership?
Memberships can be purchased online with secure payment with a Visa or Mastercard. Please contact us for alternative payment methods.  

Are there members’ only facilities that I have access to on race day? 
At Stony Creek, members have access to two exclusive areas:

  • The Members’ Lawn.  Situated in front of the winning post, members enjoy premium views of the home straight from their tables. Ample cover is provided by shade sails and market umbrellas. Members also have access to an exclusive bar, while TAB, bookmakers and dining facilities are all in close proximity.  
  • The Members’ Lounge. Located upstairs, the lounge overlooks the Mounting Yard and features exclusive bar and TAB facilities. The adjoining balcony provides a popular vantage spot to watch the horses parade and race. Light food is also available. 

Can I bring children into the Members’ facilities? 
Children under the age of 18 are permitted into all Members’ areas if accompanied by an adult member. Members are reminded that they are responsible for the behaviour and dress standard of their guests and children at all times.

Is there a dress code in the Members’ facilities? 
No, but we kindly ask members to dress to a standard suitable for the Member’s facilities. Club Management retains the right, at its sole discretion to refuse any member or guest access to enter or use the members’ areas that is poorly attired or does not have the appropriate ticket or pass.

Not Permitted: The following items of clothing or those similar in nature are not permitted to be worn within the Members’ facilities. Torn clothing, clothing with graffiti or offensive words / slogans, singlets, swimsuits and dilapidated footwear.

Who can use a Guest Pass? 
Guest passes can be used by any non-member you would like to bring on race day, and it does not need to be the same guest each time. 

Who qualifies for a seniors membership? 
Seniors Membership for $50 is available to holders of an Australian Seniors Card. Card number must be provided during check out in the 'special requirements' screen.

When will I receive my membership? 
Memberships are normally sent 1-3 business days after purchase for confirmed members, please allow more time during the busy renewal period. If you would like to collect your membership pack on race day, please get in touch with us to arrange this. 

What happens if my card is lost or stolen? 
Membership cards can be replaced by contacting the club (service fee may apply). The old card will be cancelled and a new one will be issued. 

Is there a Members’ car park? 
Yes, we have a members’ priority car park which provides members with easy access to the racecourse. 

How long does a membership last? 
The membership season follows the racing season, which is 1 August – 31 July. We recommend renewing early in the season to maximise value from your membership. 

If I can’t attend a race day, can a friend or family member use my card? 
Yes, another person can use your membership pass if you cannot attend. Membership cards are scanned upon entry to the racecourse and can only be scanned in once.

Are there any reciprocal rights with other race clubs? 
A Stony Creek membership provides reciprocal members rights at the following four Gippsland racing clubs: Sale, Moe, Traralgon & Bairnsdale. Exceptions may apply to Cup Days. Please contact the individual club for more information.
